Content Moderation Policy

4.1 Purpose
This Content Moderation Policy explains how we identify, review, restrict, and remove content that violates our rules or creates safety risk.
4.2 Scope
This policy applies to:
- Stories and text submissions
- Photos and videos
- Profile names and bios
- Comments and support submissions
- Family and city identifiers
- Contest entries and reward claims
4.3 Moderated Categories
We may restrict or remove content involving:
- Profanity and obscenity
- Pornography and sexually explicit material
- Nudity or sexually suggestive content
- Graphic violence or disturbing imagery
- Hate speech, slurs, threats, and harassment
- Illegal activity
- Fraud, impersonation, spam, and manipulation
4.4 Moderation Methods
We may use:
- Automated screening tools
- Keyword detection
- Image and video safety classifiers
- Human moderators
- Escalation and appeals review where available
4.5 Review Outcomes
Content may be:
- Approved
- Flagged for review
- Limited in visibility
- Removed
- Escalated for account action
4.6 Account Enforcement
Users who repeatedly or seriously violate policy may receive:
- Warnings
- Temporary posting restrictions
- Contest disqualification
- Suspension
- Permanent ban
4.7 Appeals
If an appeal channel is offered, users may request review by contacting support@30actsofkindness.org. Appeal outcomes are final unless required otherwise by law.
4.8 Recordkeeping
We may retain moderation records, flags, notes, timestamps, and enforcement history for safety, fraud prevention, audits, legal compliance, and appeals.
4.9 Zero-Tolerance Content
We may apply immediate removal and strong enforcement for:
- Pornography
- Child sexual abuse material
- Credible threats of violence
- Severe harassment or hate content
- Fraud related to donations, contests, or rewards
